Dr. Priscilla Partridge de Garcia

Dr Partridge studied art from a young age. She continued to study art while teaching journalism, design and graphics. She studied watercolor in Ventura, California with Jan Turner until the late 1990's. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2001, she studied with prominent and well known water colorist Gail McDaniel, who also became her muse and her mentor.

Dr. Priscilla has exhibited in Brentwood, TN, in Franklin's Barnes and Noble book store with other artists, at the Frist Gallery in Cheekwood, at the TPAC (Tennessee performing Arts Center) Gallery G; and also at the United Methodist Church in Brentwood, TN. She presently is the artist in residence at the Spa by Diane Loring, Inc, at the Historical Love House in Ventura California as well as The Post and Beam in Spring Hill, TN. Her art pieces are at Miss Daisy's at Grassland Market in Franklin, TN. She completed an art premier at the Mad Platter in Germantown in Nashville, TN in July 2007. She is a member of the Buena Ventura Art Association, The Arts at the Airport Commission in Nashville, TN. and Business Community and Arts Board, currently created by Martha Ingram.

She worked with 20 other women to fund and bring Women Beyond Borders (www.womenbeyondborders.org) to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tennessee from March to July 2003. This was the first state to have this international traveling exhibit.
